We got to go to the pumpkin patch on monday. We were lucky and got great weather! It was so nice out we didn't even wear coats! Keagan was funny..he had fun, but he didn't like me taking his picture. It is a little different with out little kids. And it was our first time with out Melissa. *sigh* lots of those firsts coming and I don't like it. It would be great if Chaz was there too.

Planning weddings are crazy. I don't even have that much on my plate for it.. But I know Melissa is a little stressed too. It will be fun when its all over.

Wedding s.. I was sad this week that I missed Jordan Torres wedding in the Vegas temple. He served in our ward over a year ago. But he and his wife are coming to visit in a couple of weeks, so I'm happy about that!

he missionaries over for lunch and pumpkin carving. It was fun!

Today, I got to go to 2 primary programs and our sacrament mtg. The primary programs are always so great! I love when the children sing!

We are driving back from Portland right now from my uncle's memorial. Keagan's driving..so if i sound scattered..

I just taught him how to use the cruise control. He thinks it's pretty cool.

It got to dark and rainy so I had to drive home, but he did great and drove for about an hour.

This week we had something every night. I'm not a fan of those kinds of weeks and our weekend was packed. I need another day off to rest.

Keagan had his first choir concert this week. He did really well. And he looked so handsome!! That tuxedo white shirt and bow tie! And the concert was short and sweet!

Also this week Keagan performed at the wa center for his swing dancing. That was a lot of fun to go see! That's the picture in his sailor suit.

Saturday, I had my 11 year old stake activity on modesty. Luckily this is my 3rd time doing the same thing.. So it wasn't too hard. That night was Keagan's performance.

This morning was Lacey 1st wards primary program. Definitely one of the best meetings of the year. This one was so great for me because I knew so many of The kids. I counted 12 that I've had in my preschool over the years. One of the little boys in my class has been practicing his part lots.. His part starts out Heavenly Father..and then other words. His mom was telling me because it starts out that way he thinks he is saying a prayer and bows his head and closes his eyes.

The funniest last picture I sent.. Our toilet seat broke, so we cleaned it up and Ray was taking it to Home Depot to make sure he got the right size..(just for the record..I didn't think it was necessary..) so it was in the car when Keagan got in to go his choir concert. He was not amused! Hahaha

10.11.15 Keagan

Keagan got to go with his good friend Rebekah from DuPont to homecoming. He had a great time, but felt like they stayed a little too long at the dance because it was a little inappropriate at the end..so much that it gave him a headache. In a way, I was happy about that and told him where the spirit cant reside sometimes it will make you physically uncomfortable. He texted me a half hour

or so before it ended to come pick them up.

He has been excited about this dance for a while. Getting dressed up and everything. W e went and picked her up. Poor keagan.. We followed him in so I could take pics. Her brother is on a mission. I think I remember her saying that there was a wedding in the family so they had lifesize cut out of him in their living room t hat they took a pic with. 

Bro. Shoop and I dropped them off at Applebees for dinner. I'm not sure why they didn't want us to go to dinner there.. Haha

So we sat at the Target little diner and had pizza and shopped while we waited for them.

I have soo many pictures this week! We had Melissa and Chaz come Sunday night and they left Wednesday morning. Of course, I wanted more time. They were busy doing wedding prep stuff and I think got a lot done. We had a family dinner Monday night with her grandparents, cindy &aurora and my brother Eric. 

Tuesday, we had a bridal shower for them. It was super fun and nice to see so much support for them. I think there were @40people there.

These are some of the pics from the bridal shower. One of the last pics with melissa and chaz with her holding up a picture frame is funny because it is just a frame with the standard picture in the frame and i think someone asked if it was chaz when hexwas younger..

We played a fun game of holding up tiarras or mutaches if they t hought the question related to her or him. Ie. Who has a cleaner car? (chaz) 

We enjoyed staying up late and visiting and laughing with them. I let Keagan sleep in and skip seminary... 

A couple favorite memories that I wrote down while they were here..

Asking chaz if he was surprised by how many people came to the shower.. Yes and no. Yes, that was a lot of people. No, because shes a great person and I know she's made a good impression on a lot of people.

And they got their marriage license!

Chaz passed all our tests. :) He seemed to be un fazed by all of us.. Crazy family and friends. ;)

I have a part b letter because keagan went on his first formal date and deserve s a letter and lots of pics too.

Wasn't conference wonderful? I love that where ever you are in the world you can see it or hear it, maybe at a different time.. But still get to see it. How awesome to have 3 new apostles and hear their witness. I'm not even sure what talk was my favorite. I loved Elder Bednars testimony of the apostles who he has served with. It shows of their testimonies, but also of their love for each other!

I was feeling a little sad that I haven't connected with our elders lately. I didnt even know when the last transfer happened! And we got a new missionary.  Well we had 2 of them over for General conference sat. Morning and it made me feel a little better. I loved that they had fun socks. I hope you have fun socks.. Tights.. Something that you can individualize. Our cat, Precious even like them.. Thats not very common.

Well big new for me this week. My glasses came in.. I'm now old.. I know people who wear glasses who arent old, but in my case my eyes are needing help because I'm getting older. I've heard people say that when you turn 40, youre eyesight goes.. I'm happy that I made it a few years past 40!

Bro. Shoop and I went to Tugboat Annie's friday for our date. There were a few clouds.. It was beautiful.

And the best!! Melissa and Chaz will be here tonight! Soooo happy!!

And it was one year ago today that we were at the conference center and saw so many of our rms! And the next day said goodbye to Melissa with her living in utah!
