4.30.17

Just sitting in my van enjoying the beautiful sunshine on my face as I wait for Keagan at the oly stake center. has a camp Hellman fireside tonight. I can't go into the church.. or I don't want to because I'm wearing sweats and slippers. Haha
It's peaceful and quiet.
Keagan.. my little romantic.. had so much fun at Mormon Prom! He said it was pretty much perfect. Wow! His date Mikaela is a lovely girl, so nice, fun to be around AND pretty!

Her dress was gorgeous and modest!
They went with a Beauty and the Beast theme since that is how he asked her. He bought her the cute Belle Mickey Mouse ears when he went to Disney. The comments on his Facebook made me laugh so much! Not only because they were funny! But because they were heart warming because most of the comments were from his sis and a few of our rms who we consider family, too. Keagan considers them older brothers. Love it!

Bahahahaha

I'm not feeling well.. just a little cold, but I'm feeling blessed! I have such good friends in my life and I was able to spend time with some of them this week. And plan with a couple of their upcoming visits this summer. I love summer time! I can hardly wait!

We also got to go to the temple Saturday. It was beautiful inside and out. The tulips were blooming!

Such a peaceful place! And when we came out.. there was a duck wandering around the parking lot. Lol

And an email isn't complete without a pic or two of this cutie!

Love you all! Have a fantastic week!
Love,

We had an exciting week. We had a friend that we were in the same college ward with come to town and got to see him! We hadn't seen him since college.. 25 years ago and had never met his wife. It was so fun to get together and reminisce and catch up!

This little girl is starting to take steps! So fun to watch her! So grateful for FaceTime!

Sister Kay in our ward fell this week, but luckily onto her bed. But her strength isn't well, so she's in a rehab center right now. We went to visit her and brought Brother Kay to church. (They're in their 80s) He's one of my favorite people.
Our good friends, the Virgo's-Kylee had to give a talk and so we got to help with her kids or really just sit with them, they were so good. It felt like heaven having Brother Kay on one side and little kids near by! It did make me miss Melissa, Chaz, and Hazel, though!
Funny thing, Bro Kay's cell phone starting ringing and he couldn't figure out how to turn it off or silence it. It was so funny. He took it out of his pocket and put it under his leg, trying to get it to be quieter. Lol
After sacrament meeting, I had a ward conference in Yelm. Deschutes River ward. It was fun to see one of our missionaries that was recently transferred. then we went to our friend Sue's house in Chehalis and saw another one of our recently transferred missionaries.

And Keagan came with me to Yelm because the girl he likes goes to that ward. Lol. He's such a romantic..
They're going to Mormon Prom next week.
And here's a throw back of some of my favorite people from 5 years ago, Mormon Prom.

4 are married, 2 of them to each other, and 1 getting married next week! Crazy how time flies!

I know the Gospel is true! Read your Book of Mormon every day like President Monson says! I know this will bring so many blessings to your lives!

Love you all!

Happy Easter! I know.. we all know the true meaning of the Easter holiday and I know that's true!
But Hazel Easter pictures.. so cute!

Her birthday was Saturday, too! I can't believe she's one!
It was a good week! There has been more sunshine and that is good! One day I just sat out in my car for almost an hour because it was sunny. It was too cold still to sit outside, but it felt so nice!
We went to another wedding reception this weekend. Tis the season! Serena Maxwell from Oly 1. She married a guy who speaks Russian.. and I'm not sure if he's from Russia or the Ukraine.. They got married in the Portland temple and looked very happy.

(One I stole from Facebook.. but I did see it being taken)
And I got to visit with one of Melissa's best friends.. Brooklyn. That was so great to visit with her and laugh with her! I miss Melissa's friends!

We had my mom and step dad and brother Adam and his family and my sister over for dinner. It was fun. Keagan was tired (as always) and was falling asleep.. my mom photo bombing. Hahaha

Love you all!

We don't want to go back to "normal" life. We got home Thursday night. We had such a great time being with Hazel, Melissa and Chaz. Usually we go visit more people, but this time we mostly spent time with Hazel. She's a little hard to take places and we enjoyed spending time with her! She's so fun! She's good at blowing kisses, she likes to clap, play peek a boo, and she thinks she's funny! She'll be randomly playing and just start laughing.

We did go to Provo to see Oliphant and our good friends the Millers. (Sad no pic) It was a quick visit with Oli, he met us in between classes in our van. Ha! But always so good to see one of my "boys"!!

We were so grateful that it wasn't stormy or snowy on the way home! In Oregon, it was beautiful!

And we took Hazel to go get her pictures. There's no way we can decide on a favorite, so here's a couple.

Love you all!

Too much to tell happened this past week!
But wasn't General Conference awesome! I need to go back and listen more. Hazel was a little bit of a distraction...

Earlier this week I went on a little road trip with my mom to where she was born and lived until she was 17 in southern Oregon. It was fun seeing where she lived and hearing some great stories. One lady still lives there who is 92! That was fun to visit with her. The people who owned my moms childhood home let us come in and look. That was really cool!
Her house that she grew up in.

Friday we left to drive to Utah. We met up with the Olivers and Falters. It was awesome!!!

I love my Faliveroop family! Years ago our kids combined our names for our together family name. Falter, Oliver, Shoop. 😊
We got to have an early birthday party for Hazel. She turns one on April 15!!

We've started our visiting with loved ones, too!

Meanwhile Keagan is in Disneyland with his choir group.

Of course I have 100s more pictures, but can't share them all!
Love ya
