4.10.16

I'm so sad spring break is over! We didn't do too much, but it was relaxing! Poor Keagan was sick most of break. One day we went out to my dads in Elma. Since we were almost half way there and it was sunny and beautiful (in the 80s that day!!!) we decided to go to the beach. We only stayed for a little bit, but it was worth it! It was beautiful! I could of stayed a lot longer!

Friday night, Keagan had a party to go to in yelm. Ray and I took him out there, but didn't want to drive back, so we made a date out of it. Problem is, there really isn't too much to do there! Ray loves baseball, so we found a baseball park, ate our subway sandwiches, and listened to the Mariners game. Later we walked around Walmart..watched the sunset from the parking lot

And played with the filters on snapchat. Thanks to Melissa for teaching me how! Haha There is a face swap on there that Ray and I did. We were laughing so much. Poor Ray, the only angle that would capture it made him look completely bald.. Yikes.
The other scary one.. Me with the facial hair.. It made me look like my brother.. I guess that makes sense..

My brother a few years ago.

The other thing I have been doing this week is going through old pictures and home movies. I could do that all the time! My family tease me that I take too many pictures, but I'm glad I do!!
It was so good to see Katie today! And hear her speak!

Sacrament and all of church was amazing today. I really felt like all of it was focused on the Savior. (Like it should be!) but the lessons were really geared towards that and that spirit was strong today!

To top off tonight, we had Jesse Williamson come over! Love that kid!!! It was so fun to hear him speak (with a smidge of his accent still) and hear about his mission and the customs from Guatemala And to look at some ward pictures of activities when he was a youth! So fun!

Love you all!!

I love General conference weekend! So many uplifting thoughts and talks; New temples, hearing from our prophet! And Elder Hollands amazing talk to close it! I'm also grateful for modern technology so we can quickly read and listen to them again. I may or may if not fell asleep during a couple...

I also love our family tradition of cinnamon rolls one day and quiche the other day. We were also blessed to have elders come both morning sessions.

Elder Doing lost a game.. So this was his consequence..haha
We also had some visitors in between conference on Saturday. One of our rms.. Tyler Harward and his parents dropped by. I love my Rms!

Friday, Ray had the day off and it was sunny , so I convinced him to go up north 2 hours to mount Vernon to the tulip farms. They were beautiful!

It was so nice outside. Because it was sunny and Friday's are usually bad traffic days.. I convinced him to ride the ferry home from Edmonds to Kingston and drive the long way home. I think it may of been quicker and it was gorgeous! Mountains one one side and water on the other!

And I love riding the ferry! This one especially brings fond memories of going to my grandmas house when I was little.
And next week is spring break!!

Love you all!
