Happy Easter! Just like Christmas.. Fun traditions and such great meaning. I have loved watching a lot of the Mormon/Lds videos.
Another great week! I was lucky enough this week to have Adam Cichoski and Stewart Kearney come visit and stay with us for a couple of nights. They came to see one of their mission companions get married and came a couple of days extra to see their mission. What fun it was to visit and laugh with these two! It was Kearney's first time back to visit. He's been home for @1.5 years. Love my rms!!

Loved every second of it..pillow fights and all!!

Keagan had a flashlight Easter egg hunt party, Saturday night. It was so fun to hear their laughter through the house and backyard!

Can you see some of the eggs? But they did it in the dark! Fun!

Can you see their flashlights?

This is what happens when Keagan plays with my phone! Hahahaha

I got to sub in primary today. It was great! And even better, I got to hold Sis. Kelleys baby girl to get my grandma practice in! I loved every second of that, too!

This is what I do a lot of.. Talking to Melissa and or face timing her! I love modern technology! I can see Hazel move in Melissa's tummy! So awesome!! I'm getting super excited to be a grandma! Not too much longer!
I love you all and am so grateful for you all. Have a great week!!!

Love,

This week has been full of construction. I feel like a little girl because I love watching it. They ripped the other side of the street - the pavement to put the new water lines down. And then they came and dug up that side of the street to put the lines down. We have had several days of our street closed only to local traffic and big construction vehicles back and forth all day. One day we turned the couch around and watched. Haha

(I was grateful that the port-a-pottie wasn't in front of my house! Haha)

St. Patrick's day is one of my favorite preschool holidays. We build leprechaun traps and the kids are so excited. They are whispering to each other to be quiet so the leprechaun comes! Haha

Today I had a ward conference at the same time as our ward, but I really wanted to hear Jesse speak, so I left our sacrament meeting as soon as Jesse said Amen. He, of course did a great job. He is still forgetting some English words. And I love listening to his accent. But most importantly, his testimony is strong and he's grown a lot. I'm so proud of him! One quick cute story about Jesse... He was introducing himself to an investigator and went to tell him who he was and went to point to his name badge... And then was like, oh yah.. I'm not a missionary anymore. 😊

Bro Shoop got released from ym president and will get a new calling next week. Bro. Grubbs is the new ym president. Also, 4th ward got a new bishop, bishop Hakes was released and bishop Andrews called.

My parents came over tonight and we played card games. It was a lot of fun, but now it's late.

Love you all lots! You're always in our prayers! Keep up the good works!

The highlight of the week was seeing Jesse come home and seeing Kimmie!

Kimmie came home Tuesday. And I've been dying to see her and hug her all week! Today I got to see her and hear her talk. So awesome. She was amazing and I wasn't surprised one bit!! I can't wait to visit with her more!
Something kimmie said in her talk that I just loved, "My mission didn't change me. The Atonement of Jesus Christ did." It was a great talk and sacrament meeting. And I wasn't even distracted when a toddler sitting next to us spilled their water and it got my bench so wet, it was dripping down at the end! Haha. I put my purse behind me so I didn't get wet and someone brought us paper towels!

(I stold this one from Facebook for you guys)

Jesse came home Thursday evening. And I was lucky enough to go to the airport to see him come home. Keagan came with me. Bro Shoop had to work. 😞 Traffic was extra bad on the way up. Luckily, I left early because I got there with only a few minutes to spare. It was such a great experience. I thought for sure I was going to happy cry. But I didn't. I don't know if it was because I was so rushed, worried about if I would make it on time or that the williamsons didn't cry either. They were just soooo happy to see each other. I felt privileged to be there! He looked to happy! And tan! And he was fun to listen to. And fun to hear him try to remember the English words for things. Keagan and I got to go out to eat afterwards with them and I loved visiting with him!

They were looking to see if Jesse grew on his mission!

Our car has had some slight mechanical issues lately, but have all been covered under warranty. When we take our car in to be fixed under warranty, they give us a free rental car. This weekend we took it in and got a Cadillac Escalade for our free rental car! I don't know much about cars.. But it's super fancy! All kinds of buttons and gadgets.. Heated steering wheel and seats..etc.. We looked up a year older and it was going for $54,000!!! Crazy! I would never have that expensive of a car, but it has been fun driving it for a couple of days! We feel really blessed that everything is covered under warranty and to have a free rental car!

There is a youth fireside tonight where kimmie and Jesse are speaking. I think I'm going to sneak in!

It has been rainy and windy lately here! I went to Lacey 3rd ward for ward conference and the power went out a few times in the chapel for a few seconds before church started! I'm glad it didn't go out!

I love you all and I'm grateful for your service and your testimonies. It strengthens mine. I know the Church is true and I'm grateful for it and bonds we make through it!

Have a good week!
Love,
Sis Shoop
