8.27.17

You know you have really good friends when they agree to bring your grand baby home with them on the airplane from Utah with them. Thank goodness kids under 2 are free.
This is one of the pictures I got of Hazel being on the plane with the Falter's. Thank goodness she's such a good baby! So we got her @1:30 Saturday and have her until her parents come and visit us next week after Labor Day. We're so lucky and blessed!

Church was good with Hazel.. she did pretty good through Sacrament meeting. She was being a little silly and making faces.. the people behind us said they could mostly ignore her until she started head banging to "Master the tempest is raging". Oh my goodness! The next two hours we had hall duty!

Keagan's meme. Hahaha

And last Monday (I know, I'm going backwards) we got to go out to Rainier to Keagan's "friend's " house for dinner for her birthday. It was really fun visiting with her parents and family. They have a great family!

Always remember to stay strong and keep your covenants. When you do the "little" things that we are taught.. read your scriptures, pray, go to church, it is a lot easier to do that. I know that is true.

Love you all! Have a good week, I'm looking forward to mine! 😉Love ya!

A day late..
We had a visit from Logan Woodbury this week. That was so fun to see him and visit. We haven't seen him in a few years before he left on his mission. I want to say 5 years. Jesse Williamson came over to visit, too.

Funny thing about this picture.. I posted it on Facebook without tagging anyone in the picture. I see Josh commenting on it saying something like yah, I had fun, huh Jesse. Facebook had tagged it for me and tagged Jesse as Josh. Poor boys.. no one can get them correct. 😊

We took Logan to downtown oly to the replica of he tardis. I remember how he loved that show. He was even wearing a matching shirt.

This weekend we got to go give a missionary in Oly 2 his birthday package. His aunt is my good friend Angela Redding. It was fun to plan with one of our other missionaries to get it to him.

Only in Olympia... Cannabis Culture corner. Not just a store which are everywhere around here, but a culture corner! Wow!

It was the beach stake dance so we took Keagan and his "friend " to the dance. It was beautiful and sunny, but cold. We barely left the van. But it was worth it! Seeing the ocean, hearing it and smelling it. I love it!

Keagan and Makayla at the sharkie store in Ocean Shores.

And we get Hazel next Saturday! Brooklyn is being nice and bringing her to us. Melissa and chaz will come the next week.

Have a good week! Love ya!

Ahh. It's cooler outside! It feels so nice. I'm a true Nw person!

Keagan and I went to a small family reunion Saturday in Shelton. It was my moms side and her cousins. I heard some great stories about my grandma and my uncle. I was blessed to grow up with so many fun great aunts and uncles. My grandma was one of ten and born in Olympia. There are tons of cousins everywhere around here. There was a cousin joking that when he went to high school, he was like umm who's your parents.. don't want to accidentally date a relative. Hahaha
It did start out a little slow.. Keagan's Snapchat.

Me and my sis

We had stake conference this weekend. As always, it was a spiritual feast. Friday night our area authority talked about keeping the sabbath day holy and many aspects about it. He said it is something that the brethren are really concerned about. He told us about the training meetings he has been to and this is the only subject that gets mentioned every time. And how our church leaders never give us the spirit of he law, but never will make lists for us. We need to use the spirit and decide for ourselves how we want to keep it holy. On a light note he added and said that doesn't mean that you can say, oh I feel good and I think I can feel the spirit and go water skiing or fishing or some other random thing that we know not to be a sabbath day observance.

After stake conference today, we got to have the Deschutes River and our missionaries over for lunch. That meant we got to have Elder Bouchard (sp?) who had been in our ward come over. It was nice to meet my own missionaries. I felt bad these are the first set I haven't known in a few years! But, luckily now it's all good!

And of course a cute picture with Hazel in it! This pic makes me smile!! We get Hazel time again at the end of the month! Sooo exciting!

Have a great week!
Love ya!

8.6.17

We celebrated our anniversary this week. We had decided to keep it simple and go out to eat later in the week (mostly because it was so hot later in the week!) We also got hit with a huge auto maintenance bill.. so that helped us decide on to keep our anniversary celebrations small. :/ We weren't complaining.. (out loud.. too much) and I was trying to have the best attitude in seeing the glass half full, not empty. We could pay the auto bill.. etc. but not have anything extra..

Ray works what's called a crazy 9 schedule and has every other Friday off. He had take Thursday off, too. He came home Wednesday night with some important news to tell me. One of his co workers heard that we weren't doing anything and decided that we should, so she wouldn't take no for an answer and bought a hotel night for us at Ocean Shores!!! How amazing is that! It's so great that people are still so nice. There is good everywhere still!
We had a great time going to the beach! It was a cool 64 degrees and it felt wonderful after the high 90s in town!

We drove around town a little bit exploring and saw deer everywhere! There were lots of babies, too! Where we saw these deer, there were 3 or 4 more across the street and another little family beside them!

We had fun doing FaceTime with Hazel and Melissa with the beach in he background!

And some more cuteness!

hahahaha

And I found these in one of those fun little beach shops!! I may have to go back and buy them for a white elephant gift. Lol!

Umm.. yes.. a Seahawks Flag with our American flag on the beach..

Our lesson in Sunday school was really good today. We are studying church history. We were talking about when the saints were building the Navuoo temple and when they were starting to take out their endowments and happy and excited they were. Also how happy our ancestors are in getting their work done. The comparison was made of how sometimes we (me, too) complain about how much traffic there is and how long it takes to get to our temple and then our ancestors have been waiting for a couple hundred years.. I think I can do an extra hour. I'm grateful for the temple and that families can be forever! I'm happy that Ray and I got married and sealed in the temple 25 years ago!

Have a great week!
