It's cold outside! I'm
grateful for warm fires, heated car seats, car starters that I can warm my car
up before I have to go outside, and electric blankets!
This week we were able to
go see a play at north thurston, bye bye birdie. It was so good, cute, and
wholesome. It was fun, too that there were several lds kids in it. And the night
we were there the audience was full of members from our stake.
Keagan has been so sweet.
He is such a good kid! Several times this week he has made me laugh and brought
me comfort! One funny he said.. We were on the way to nths to go to the play. I
said we're a little early, we can go to Hobby Lobby (a super sized craft store
and he hates that store)
K- I'm never going there
again... Unless I go with a girl.
Bro. shoop - you can go
with your mom..she's a girl..
K- she doesn't count!
Haha
We had a new priest boy
move in. (Richie) He's had a rough life. He was a foster kid, got adopted and
then his adopted parents went through a nasty divorce. Keagan was telling me all
this and told me how he felt so bad for him and didn't know what to say because
he's had such a good life. He said jokingly..I had a bad day in choir the other
day...
Keagan has been a good
friend to Richie and he's sat with us as he's the only one in his family that
comes to church.
Well.. This is the week!
Tuesday night one of my favorites comes in to stay with us, Jared Oliphant! And
then Melissa and Chaz come in Wed night. Saturday is the big day! I'm excited,
happy, and a lot emotional about it. I'm sure I will have lots to say next week!
If you haven't seen the invite, I attached it.
Then the following week
we drive down to Portland on Thursday and fly to Utah early Friday morning for
the reception there.
The church is true!
Love you all!
Sis shoop
The only pic this week at
the play. Bro shoop yawning..which is pretty accurate of how he usually is.
